Job Summary

July Express Cargo is seeking a qualified and experienced Courier Strategic Officer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating courier operations while also conducting field work to identify and win new clients for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve courier and delivery operations.
  • Coordinate daily courier activities including dispatch, pickups, and deliveries.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Monitor delivery performance and ensure timely transportation of items.
  • Maintain proper shipment records and tracking systems.
  • Supervise courier staff and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
  • Conduct field work to market company services and secure new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
  • Investigate delivery delays, losses, or damages and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare courier performance and business development reports.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a courier or logistics department.
  • Experience in client acquisition, marketing, or business development is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of courier operations, dispatch management, and route planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
