Zambia Statistics Agency

The Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) is a statutory body established under the Statistics Act, Chapter 127 of the Laws of Zambia. It coordinates an integrated National Statistical System (NSS). The agency focuses on building sustainable capacity for the production and use of statistical data and information for planning purposes at all levels of governance in Zambia. Its activities include supporting strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, compiling external sector statistics such as Balance of Payments (BoP) and International Investment Position (IIP), and developing training programs to enhance statistical capacity across the country. The agency is located in Lusaka, Zambia.
