Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA)

Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) is an organization established under the laws of Zambia. It was initially established under the Zambia National Tender Board Act Chapter 394 of the Laws of Zambia of 1982. Following the enactment of the Public Procurement Act in 2008, the Zambia National Tender Board was renamed as Zambia Public Procurement Authority. The authority is charged with regulating public procurement and also handles standard setting, planning, compliance and performance monitoring, professional development, and information management and dissemination in public procurement. ZPPA operates out of Lusaka, Zambia.
