Zambia Alliance of Women

The Zambia Alliance of Women (ZAW) is a women-led membership non-governmental, non-profit making; non-partisan service women's organization. It was established in 1978 and later registered under the Societies Act in March 1982. ZAW operates with a commitment to promoting equality, development, and peace in Zambia. Its mission is to empower women by promoting gender equity and equality, environmental sustainability, and social justice, ensuring that the right to a healthy life is enjoyed by both present and future generations.
