Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA)

Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA) is an organization established under the Water Resources Management Act No. 21 of 2011. It is mandated to regulate and manage the utilization of water resources in Zambia in a sustainable, equitable, and integrated manner. The Authority's activities include investigating, monitoring, and enforcing the use and exploitation of groundwater. WARMA provides input on data acquisition strategies for the development, management, and protection of groundwater resources within its catchment area. The organization is located in Lusaka, Zambia.
