UNICEF

UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to promote the rights of every child. The organization focuses on supporting child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation (WASH), quality basic education for all boys and girls, and protecting children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS. UNICEF was created in 1946 with global authority to influence decision-makers and partners at the grassroots level. It is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from individuals, businesses, foundations, and governments. The organization operates in Zambia, including Lusaka.
