Truckers Association of Zambia (TAZ)

The Truckers Association of Zambia (TAZ) is a trade association for truckers operating in Zambia. It was re-established and re-registered on June 11, 2007, under the Societies Act Cap 119 of the Laws of Zambia. TAZ also registered as an Employer Association on March 25, 2020. The organization's main role is to influence trucking industry policy, regulation, and practice for the benefit of its members and the broader transport industry. Its activities include representing the association, implementing objectives and programs, promoting membership growth, and engaging with relevant Government Ministries and institutions both within and outside Zambia. TAZ works to address challenges affecting the industry and communicate its achievements through monthly newsletters.
