The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) is a regional grouping comprising 21 African States. The organization promotes regional integration by focusing on trade development and trade facilitation among its member states. COMESA's activities include providing strategic leadership and technical direction across various sectors, such as gender and social affairs, energy statistics, transport statistics, and information and communication technology (ICT). It works to harmonize policies and regulatory frameworks to achieve the regional integration agenda for Eastern and Southern Africa. The organization is located in Lusaka, Zambia.
