About Us
Plan International Zambia is an independent, non-governmental development and humanitarian organization dedicated to advancing children's rights and gender equality. The organization works globally and has been active in Zambia since 1996. Its programs focus on supporting children's rights from birth through adulthood, enabling them to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. Key programmatic areas include Inclusive Quality Education, Skills and Opportunities for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Early Childhood Development (ECD), and Gender Responsive Child Protection. Plan International Zambia operates its Country Office in Lusaka and maintains Program Area Offices across Central, Luapula, and Eastern Provinces. The organization's work involves tackling the root causes of challenges facing vulnerable children, particularly adolescent girls.
