We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientedLegal Assistant / Junior Lawyerto join our team. The successful candidate will support legal operations with a focus ondebt collection, property-related disputes, and litigation support, while working closely with internal teams and external counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in handling debt collection matters, including drafting demand letters and negotiating settlements
Support resolution of property disputes, including tenant, landlord, and ownership-related issues
Attend to smaller court matters and provide litigation support where required
Liaise with external counsel and follow up on ongoing cases
Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and provide concise legal opinions when needed
Maintain proper records of legal matters and ensure timely follow-ups

Requirements:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
Must be an Advocate of the High Court
Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
