Near is an international, membership-based organization that works with local organizations across four regions: Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East. The organization aims to reshape the top-down humanitarian and development system into one that is locally driven, owned, and built around equitable, dignified, and accountable partnerships. NEAR's work involves influencing policy change and enacting systemic change through innovative solutions led by local and national actors. The organization operates globally, with a presence noted in Lusaka, Zambia.
