National Prosecution Authority

The National Prosecution Authority (NPA) is an autonomous body established by the NPA Act No. 34 of 2010. Its mission is to provide prosecution services to contribute to a crime free Zambia. The organization operates within the legal and civil government sectors, focusing on prosecuting criminal cases in the Magistrate Courts of Zambia to bring offenders to justice. The Authority's activities include processing dockets and guiding investigators in conducting criminal investigations. The NPA is located in Lusaka, Zambia.
