Mafisa Community Transformation Trust Limited

Mafisa Community Transformation Trust Limited is a Zambian non-profit organization established in 2018. The organization focuses its efforts on Mwandi and surrounding districts, strengthening climate-smart, productive pastoralist livelihoods in Zambia’s poorest and most climate-impacted regions. Mafisa helps local traditional cattle-raising communities improve herd health, adopt regenerative rangeland management, and access fair market opportunities to achieve larger, more sustainable incomes. Beyond livestock, the organization supports other sustainable livelihoods within these same communities. Since 2023, Mafisa has expanded its operations through carbon financing, implementing an innovative program in Zambia's livestock sector. The company is located in Lusaka, Zambia.
