Maamba Energy Limited (MEL) is jointly owned by Nava Bharat Singapore Pte. Limited and ZCCM-IH plc. The company owns and operates a large-scale coal mine and a 300 Megawatt coal-fired Power Plant. These operations cater to the growing demand for power in Zambia. Its activities involve civil construction, mining, and power generation within the Sinazongwe District of Southern Province.
