About Us
The Energy Regulation Board is a statutory body created by the Energy Regulation Act No. 12 of 2019. It regulates Zambia’s energy sector and operates from Lusaka, Zambia. The organization conducts activities related to monitoring compliance within the petroleum downstream sector, including physical verification of product uplifts and deliveries, validating transport distances, and collecting data from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and transporters. Its operations cover various regions across Zambia, including Kitwe, Kasama, and Livingstone.
