Role Purpose: Oversee daily crushing operations to ensure maximum production, material quality, and strict safety compliance. You will lead an operational team, manage equipment maintenance, and minimize downtime in a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Direct daily crushing, screening, and material movement to hit production targets.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct pre-shift inspections, and manage environmental controls (e.g., dust suppression).
- Maintenance: Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and emergency repairs for crushers and conveyor systems.
- Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule operators and laborers.
- Quality & Reporting: Ensure aggregate materials meet size/gradation specs and maintain detailed production and downtime logs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in crushing operations (jaw, impactor, screens). Africa-based experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of crushing processes, conveyor systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing teams in heavy industrial or outdoor settings.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma; technical degree/certification preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Comfort working in noisy, dusty, and outdoor environments.
