The College is seeking qualified and experienced Lecturers in the school of Engineering/Technology and Education.

1. Plumbing and Pipefitting

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver theoretical and practical training in plumbing and pipefitting for craft certificates.
  • Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessments
  • Supervise students during practical workshops and industry-based training
  • Participate in curriculum development and academic activities

2. Transport and Logistics

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in transport management, logistics, supply chain, and related modules
  • Prepare course materials and assess student performance
  • Engage in academic advising and industry linkage activities

3. Electrical and Automative

  • Deliver competency-based theory and practical training in Electrical and Automotive Engineering programmes
  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment tools in line with TEVETA standards
  • Supervise practical workshops, industrial attachments, and student projects
  • Mentor and support students for academic and workplace readiness
  • Participate in curriculum development and institutional quality improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related technical field (Higher qualifications will be an added advantage)
  • Proven lecturing or training experience in TEVETA-accredited institutions
  • TEVETA trainer accreditation and/or teaching methodology qualification is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years industry or teaching experience in the relevant field
  • Strong practical and workshop facilitation skills
  • Membership with a relevant professional body is desirable

3. Education (Early Childhood, Primary, Physical Education/Sports, and Special Needs Education)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver teacher training for degree programmes
  • Develop curricula, lesson plans, and teaching materials
  • Assess and mentor trainee teachers
  • Participate in research and academic development activities

Requirements:

  • Master’s degrees in Education (specialization in Early Childhood, Primary, Physical Education, or Special Needs)
  • Teaching qualification and registration with the Teaching Council
  • Past lecturer experience in teaching or teacher training will be an added advantage
