Reports To:Restaurant Supervisor / Lodge Manager / Club Manager
Job Purpose:To provide prompt and professional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming service environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome guests and provide menus where applicable.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and submit them to the kitchen or bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests during service to ensure satisfaction and resolve minor concerns.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of dining or service areas.
- Prepare tables before service and ensure proper table setting.
- Issue bills and process payments accurately.
- Maintain good communication with kitchen, bar, and management staff.
- Observe hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Certificate in Hospitality, Food and Beverage, or Customer Service is an added advantage.
- Experience in waitressing or customer service is preferred.
- Good personal presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
