1. Branch Manager
Job Purpose
The Branch Manager is responsible for administering and supervising the overall branch operations, ensuring that all staff members are performing within the prescribed policies and procedures while attaining high level of customer satisfaction. He/she takes the lead in appraising performance of all branch staff. The Branch Manager is also responsible for developing and growing both quality asset and liability portfolio of the branch, ultimately making the branch an independent profit center. Additionally, Branch Manager is accountable for overall branch activities.

2. Senior Loan Officer
Job Purpose

Express Credit Zambia seeks to recruit a self- motivated, experienced, skillful and result oriented professional based in Samfya or willing to self-relocate for Loan Officer position
Job Purpose
The Loan Officer takes charge in selling YesCash Zambia products & services, screening, evaluation of loan documentation and processing of loan applications as per laid down Policies and Procedures, and responsibility over the loan quality under his/her portfolio, general customer service. The role also includes receiving customers’ repayments, pay out loan disbursements, and entertain customers’ concerns related to their accounts, refunds, payments, arrears, interpret customer loan statements and settlement enquiries, Cash management. General customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise customers on all YesCash Zambia products and services
- Sales and cross selling YesCash Zambia products and services
- Actively engaged in generating sales by bringing customers into branches
- Process loan products to private and government offices
- Creation of customer accounts in the system
- Uploading of loan documentation on the system
- Management of loan customer files as per archiving procedure.
- Processing of customer refunds
- Handling of customer complaints escalate by creating tasks on ERP as per policy
- Manage good relationship with agents, who bring in new clients
- Receive and post cash loan repayments as per laid down procedure
- Receive cheque repayments, post on customers’ accounts, and ensure they are deposited in YesCash bank account.
- Disburse loan proceeds and cash refunds
- Verify that all loan documentation is fully signed by customers and YesCash representatives before disbursing loan proceeds
- Verify customers’ identity before making any cash pay out
- Maintain teller register and other files
- Overall cash Management
- Provide general customer service
3. Loan Officer Interns
We invite suitably qualified recent graduates based in Samfya to apply for internship as Loan Officer.
- Must be a Recent Graduate (graduated between 2022 to 2024)
- Diploma or better in any business-related course,
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- No work experience required
- Enthusiastic and self-starter,
Provide comprehensive information on the company’s products to clients. Actively sell and cross-sell the company’s products to potential clients Generate sales by bringing in new customers and expanding the client base. Evaluate and assess the credit risk of individual clients and determine their repayment capability before approving loans. Create customer accounts in the system and upload all required loan documentation. Manage customer loan files and ensure proper filing and archiving procedures are followed. Handle any complaints or queries escalated by clients. Develop and maintain good relationships with Direct Sales Agents (DSAs) who bring in new clients. Collaborate with the Regional Manager to meet sales targets and implement sales plans. Ensure compliance with company credit procedures and underwriting rules. Maintain a high level of data integrity in the system. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and concerns. Stay updated on the latest products and services offered by the company. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling client information. Analyze and assess loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth and quality of the loan portfolio. Participate in training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 credits including English and Mathematics. Diploma or better in any business-related course. Basic knowledge in financial analysis. Previous experience in Mobile operations – Added advantage Selling skills. Valid Driver’s License. Ability to penetrate new markets with no Expresscredit presence Ability to drive long distances and working out of office for long periods Previous experience in the field – added advantage Honesty and Integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Analytical with an attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and multi-tasking skills. Interpersonal skills with focus on excellent customer service. Good understanding of customer service principles. Excellent communication skills (oral & written). Excellent time management skills and organizational skills. Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel). Team player. Innovative and target/goal oriented. Enthusiastic and self-starter. Analytical, good problem solver.
