2.     JOB PURPOSE

The Supervisor for Security Guards is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of security personnel, ensuring that security measures are effectively implemented and maintained. This role involves managing, training, and supporting security guards to ensure they perform their duties to the highest standards, and that all security operations run smoothly and in compliance with company policies and client requirements.

3.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervise security guards assigned to various sites and ensure full coverage at all times

· Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and patrols to ensure guards are alert and properly deployed

· Ensure guards adhere to company rules, procedures, and client instructions

· Prepare duty rosters, attendance records, and deployment schedules

· Address guard-related issues including absenteeism, misconduct, and performance concerns

· Report incidents, breaches, or emergencies promptly to management

· Ensure guards are properly uniformed and equipped while on duty

· Liaise with clients to handle complaints, feedback, and service requirements

· Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring of guards

· Ensure proper handover and relief at all sites

· Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required

·        Grade 12 Certificate equivalent; additional training or certification in security management is a plus.

6.EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in the security industry, preferably in a supervisory role
