Area Sales Supervisor
Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for driving business growth? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Supervisor to lead the sales of consumer internet services (in Lusaka) for Liquid Intelligent Technologies (LIT).
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales quotas (revenue targets and subscriber targets) for consumer internet services in the assigned sales area or region.
- Superior market positioning of LIT consumer internet offerings against competing services/broadband technologies such as 4G, 5G, fibre-to-the-home (FTTH), & satellite.
- Monitor the consumer internet market terrain and competitive environment (Mobile Network Operators, FTTH providers, Starlink, etc.)
- Ensure compliance to the regulatory and legal requirements applicable in the consumer internet services landscape.
- Design and selection of the appropriate, suitable, and cost-effective marketing channel (direct, merchants, facilitators, or agents).
- Consumer customer segmentation and subsequent targeting using effective sales route planning and sales point setups in assigned sales area/region.
- Accurately and proactively forecasting stock levels of consumer connectivity devices required to meet the area sales quotas.
- Diligent management and monitoring of company field facilities and outdoor equipment in the assigned sales area.
- Recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of the consumer sales team comprised of sales executives and sales DSAs.
- Incentivising, motivating, and retention of the consumer sales team comprised of sales executives and sales DSAs.
- Designing effective and appealing sales promotions for consumer internet services.
- Formulating clearly defined and meaningful sales contests for sales executives and sales DSAs.
·      Explore application of AI, machine learning, and data science in consumer sales planning and processes.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 School Certificate (or Equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum merit) in a business-related discipline
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role focused on consumer sales planning, operations, or management of internet/broadband services.
- A valid driving licence.
- Use of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Familiarity with AI models, machine learning techniques, and data analytics will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, sales operations, customer relationship management, and customer experience best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results within defined timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed decision-making for onboarding, sales generation, and customer retention within the consumer sales segment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
