JOB DETAILS:The Crop Production Officer reports to the Estate Manager. The successful candidate should be able to apply acceptable agronomic practices and produce high quality crops.Main Responsibilities• Establishes physical requirements for each crop field based on the budget and analysis of soil requirements.• Produces production statistical reports and crop evaluation reports periodically.• Supervises weather station to facilitate irrigation scheduling. and ensures that the field irrigation requirements are met.• Monitors crop growth.• Implements quality and quantity standards.
