WE ARE HIRING – HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Hatrus Earthworks Ltd is looking for experienced and skilled operators to join our team.
1. Excavator Operator
Job Summary
Responsible for operating excavators to perform excavation, trenching, grading, and earthmoving tasks safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators for digging, trenching, and material handling
- Perform site preparation and earthworks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections
- Follow all safety procedures
- Work with supervisors and ground crew
- Report faults and hazards
Requirements
- Proven experience operating excavators
- Valid operator certification/license
- Strong understanding of safety practices
- Ability to read site plans (added advantage)
2. Front-End Loader Operator
Job Summary
Responsible for loading and transporting materials such as soil, gravel, and debris on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loader efficiently
- Load trucks and manage materials
- Perform daily equipment checks
- Maintain safe working environment
- Follow supervisor instructions
Requirements
- Experience operating front-end loader
- Valid certification/license
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work independently
3. TLB Operator
Job Summary
Responsible for operating a Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) for excavation, loading, and general construction support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform digging, backfilling, and loading
- Handle trenching and utility work
- Conduct equipment inspections
- Follow safety regulations
- Assist with site operations
Requirements
- Proven experience operating TLB
- Valid certification/license
- Good knowledge of construction work
- Strong attention to safety
