About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Information Supervisor to oversee data management, information flow, and reporting systems within our organization. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, security, and accessibility of information, as well as support data-driven decision-making across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise data entry, records management, and information processing activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain information management systems and databases.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in all records and reports.
  • Coordinate with departments to streamline information sharing and documentation processes.
  • Monitor data collection, filing, and archiving systems for efficiency and compliance.
  • Train and supervise information clerks or data entry staff.
  • Prepare periodic reports and analysis for management decision-making.
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks related to information management.
  • Maintain backup systems and oversee secure data storage and retrieval.
  • Recommend improvements to information systems and document control procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library and Information Science, Business Administration, ICT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in data management, information systems, or a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience with database management, digital filing systems, and information governance.
  • Knowledge of data protection laws and confidentiality practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and database software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling information.
